Will I be able to receive physical therapy or physiotherapy specific assessment and/or treatment during my sessions?

No. Condition diagnosis, treatment of specific conditions or physical therapy/physiotherapy services cannot be provided.  However, physiotherapy services will be available to clients located in UK in the near future.

Do you provide face-to-face training support?

At present, I do not offer face-to-face 1:1 sessions. All coaching and support are delivered remotely, which allows flexibility, consistency, and continuity regardless of location.

Looking ahead, I am actively working towards providing in-person 1:1 support from a dedicated space in the UK. This is part of a longer-term plan, and any updates on the availability of face-to-face sessions will be shared as this develops.

What is your cancellation policy?

I understand that life can throw us a curve ball once in a while, so I have a 24-hour cancellation policy in place for all sessions. As coaching is paid for on a monthly basis, cancelled sessions are not charged separately. However, if a 1:1 session is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, it will be deducted from your monthly session allocation.

Do you offer group sessions?

At present, all coaching is delivered online and remotely on an individual 1:1 basis, allowing for a highly personalised approach tailored to each athlete’s needs and goals.

Looking ahead, there are plans to introduce group options or structured programmes that follow a more general training framework. These would be designed to increase accessibility while still being informed by the same evidence-based principles used in individual coaching.

How do I get started?

Getting started is easy! We'll begin with an initial consultation to get to know you, discuss your goals, fitness history, and training needs. This is followed by a health screening to ensure it’s safe for you to train (you may need to get a sign off from your physician). Once these steps are complete, we can get started! Do I need to fill in a lot of forms?

Filling in the forms is essential for us to understand your goals, health history, and any potential risks. This helps me tailor a safe and effective plan for your training. Your privacy and safety are our top priority, and all data is maintained to GDPR and HIPAA standards. Click here to see a breakdown of the required forms.

Does the Happy New You E-Trainer include 1:1 sessions?

No, the e-Trainer is sold individually and does not include any personal training sessions. It's a standalone resource designed to help you train alone, providing valuable guidance and training tips. 

Do you offer programs for beginners?

Absolutely! I work with clients of all fitness levels, and we’ll create a program that’s tailored to your abilities, ensuring a safe and effective approach to training.

What should I wear during my training sessions?

I recommend wearing comfortable, breathable workout clothing that allows you to move freely and without restriction.
Where appropriate, footwear should be suitable for the type of session you’re completing (e.g. strength training, running, or conditioning). If you’re unsure what’s most appropriate for your program, this can be discussed during your consultation;

How do I track my progress?

Depending on the type of service you are looking for, I use a couple of integrated apps: TrainingPeaks &  RehabGuru. These help track your home exercises programme, progress, and milestones between sessions. This helps keep you accountable and allows us to make adjustments as needed.
